I’m Belén Culebras

A Spanish comic artist and illustrator who loves original outfits, rock/ metal music bands and the color pink!

I graduated with a degree on Fine Arts from Universidad Complutense on 2015.

After that, I studied two comic and digital illustration one-year-degrees at ESDIP at the same time I was working part time as a graphic designer.

When I finished those, I started working as Storyboarder in two advertising companies:

The Royal Production Company and Kult Culture. 

But I I've always wanted to work as a comic artist and tell stories, so I quit my job after 5 years in it.

I spent one year working on my first comic as writer, penciller, inker and colorist: DAY (2021), published by Entrelineas editorial.

During 2022 I worked on the interiors of Entremundos (Between Worlds) also published by Entrelineas editorial. On that same year I published a new comic as a complete author: "Udumbara" for Editorial Planeta. It was published as a three-part miniseries on Planeta Manga magazine, issues 14 to 16.

For international publishers, I have drawn “School of Beastly Island”, published in Germany by Carlsen, and currently combine teaching with projects and work for American publishers, such as the comic “Day of the Dead Girl” for Magma Comix.
